Xiaomi Mi 11 sold without charger, after mocking Apple

magazine team 27 Dec 2020

Like Samsung, Xiaomi mocked at Apple with the iPhone 12 that came without a charger in the box. It’s quite ironic knowing that the Mi 11, the brand’s next smartphone to be announced on December 28, will be sold… without a charger without the box.

Xiaomi boss Lei Jun made the announcement on his Weibo account. He reveals that the Mi 11 will not have a charger in the box for environmental reasons. This is exactly the same reason for Apple.

As a reminder, Xiaomi had published a tweet after the announcement of the iPhone 12 delivered without a charger in the box. The manufacturer opened the box of a Mi 10T Pro to show that the charger was indeed present. It will no longer be able to do this with the Mi 11, since the charger will be absent. Buyers will need to use an existing model or purchase AC adapter.

Xiaomi is not the only one in this situation. Samsung has also decided to mock Apple and the removal of the charger from the box of the iPhone 12. However, the Galaxy S21, which will be released in January, will be delivered … without charger in the box. Samsung even withdrew its post mocking Apple for what’s going to happen.
